Jose De Jesus Contreras entered peacefully into rest at Highland Hospital in Oakland, California on January 18, 2021. He was 65 years old.

Born March 20, 1955 in Mexico to parents Rufina and Miguel Contreras, Jose was a machine operator for Foamex for 35 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 33 years, Juana Contreras; children Juan, Rosita, Clara, Marisela, Julio and Gema Pena; grandchildren Vicente, Julian, David, Justin, Fabian, Crystal, and Mariah; and many other loving family members and friends. Jose will be deeply missed.
