John Joseph Jardin (also known as Jay) of San Leandro, CA, passed away on June 17, 2020.  His death is a shock to all who love him. He was a member of the class of 1976 at Dublin High School in Dublin, CA.  A self-employed contractor for 40 years, Jay was an avid Raiders, A’s, and Warriors fan; he also was a long-time fan of the Chicago Cubs. He loved to golf and complete projects around the house, and was very proud of his Hawaiian heritage. 

John is survived by his partner and companion of 29 years, Patricia (Trish) Tripepi; sisters Dianalee (Rick) Adams of Hayward and Donna (Pat) Hannifin of Newark; brother Alvin (Norma) Jardin of Chandler, AZ; nine nieces and nephews; 23 great-nieces and nephews, and 2 great-great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Ruby Jardin, and his sister Veronica McNeff.
