John Costa Pereira, Jr. was born in Taunton, Massachusetts on March 9, 1927 to John and Louise Pereira (Afonso). He passed away on May 1, 2018 San Leandro, California at the age of 91

He is survived by his children John C. Pereira III, Jean Marie Mounger (Charles “Bill”) and Robert J. Pereira; grandchildren David Pereira, Travis Arney and Justin Pereira; and great grandchild Colby Arney. He is predeceased by his wife Josephine Pereira, and his brother Armando Pereira.

John was a Case Operator for General Foods for 23 years. He loved motorhoming across the United States (49 of them), and was a faithful member of the SDES Portuguese Club.

There will be a Visitation on Friday, May 4, from 4:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, California.
