Jesus Alejandro Martinez, “Chie Ali”, 38, died on Monday September 11th, 2017.  He was one of seven siblings.  When he was 17 he welcomed his eldest daughter, Patricia Eleanor Martinez and at the ripe age of 37 he welcomed his youngest daughter Julie Anna Martinez.

Jesse was born August 1, 1979, in Berkeley, California and was a lifelong San Leandro Manor resident. He worked as a baker since he was fourteen. As you all know, Jesse was the face of the Manor.  Everyone knew him and everyone knew he was the nicest, smartest and most outgoing guy around. He didn't care what anyone thought, if he wanted to do something he did it with style. He was a Warrior, an Athletic and most of all he was a RAIDER fan!!!! He loved his sports, but more importantly he LOVED his family.

Services will be held at 12 p.m., Wednesday, September 20th, at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, Walter Mendez will officiate. Wear your Raiders, Warriors, or Athletics gear (49ner fans in their gear will be turned away at the door, LOL) Serving as pallbearers will be Gilbert Martinez, Jesse Mora, Michael Valenzuela, Louis Mendez, David Corral, Gus Zuniga, Jeff Klaus, Cory Kennedy, Leo Gonzalez, Johnny Muntz.

A reception will be held at Jesse’s favorite spot, Washington Manor Park, 14900 Zelma Street, San Leandro, CA—look for white balloons near the back play structure.
