Jessie W. George of Hayward, CA. passed away on January 22, 2017. She was 99 years old.

 Jessie was born in Dusseldorf, Alberta Canada in 1917 to Lewis and Etta Osborn. Her parents, her brothers Jack and James along with her sister Bessie would relocate to California when she was a young girl. She would attend Castlemont High School in Oakland then go onto receive her degree at U.C. Berkeley.

 Jessie is predeceased by her late husband Mr. George A. George whom she was married to for 33 years. They raised their children; Penny Buswell and Michael George in the Bay Area. Jessie worked for a few years as an administrative assistant at a printing company but spent the majority of her life raising a family being a mother and wife.

On Monday January 30, 2017 a viewing and service will be held at Grissom’s Chapel and Mortuary. The visitation starts at 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. and the Funeral Service beginning at 1:00 P.M.

Immediately following is the interment at Mt. Eden Cemetery located at 2440 Depot Rd. Hayward, CA.
