Javier Cerna Mendoza, known to family and friends as Bayola, passed away January 3, 2019 in Hayward, CA at the age of 61. He was born September 12, 1957 in Mexico. 

Javier is survived by his parents, Alberto Cerna and Juana Mendoza, and siblings Juan Cerna, Tarcisio Cerna, Maria Cerna, Juana Cerna, Gerardo Cerna, Patricia Cerna, Guadalupe, Lourdes, and Carmen.

Visitation for Javier will be held from 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Wednesday, January 8, 2019 at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA, with services to be held at 6:00 PM. He will be laid to rest in Pajacuarán, Michoacán, Mexico.
