Janice Jeanne Smith-Sommerville entered peacefully into rest at home in Berkeley, California on December 31, 2020. She was 69 years old.

Born May 9, 1951 in New York to parents Georgia and Percy Smith, Janice worked as a program coordinator and theological educator for many years. She is survived by many loving family members and friends, and will be greatly missed.
