Isabel Ann Poyatos entered peacefully into rest on May 2, 2017. She was 86 years old.

Born in Oakland on June 11, 1930 to Alfred and Mary Alfonso, Isabel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She received her education from Clausen, Sacred Heart and Saint Elizabeth High. Isabel loved art, photography, singing and her pets. She was a member of YLI, Secular Franciscans and Church Choir. She will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Isabel was predeceased by her beloved husband of 49 years, Joe Poyatos (2000). She is survived by her children, Mary (Danny), Gerard (Karen) and Judith (Daniel); grandchildren, Theresa (James), Mike (Tami) and Chris (Melinda); great-grandchildren, Taylor, Trinidad, Dreena and Mikey; Siblings, Marion, Marie and Frances.

Visitation will begin at 4:00pm – 8:00pm on Wednesday, May10, 2017, with a Vigil beginning at 7:00pm at Grissom’s Chapel and Mortuary 267 E. Lewelling Blvd. San Lorenzo. Funeral Liturgy will begin at 10:30am on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at St. Felicitas Catholic Church 1650 Manor Blvd. San Leandro. Burial will follow to Holy Sepulchre Cemetery 26320 Mission Blvd. Hayward.
