Hilda Fragoza passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on June 13, 2020 at Eden Hospital, Castro Valley, CA at the age of 98. Hilda was a loving wife to Cruz (deceased) and mother of nine children: Hilda Herring (Bob,deceased) of San Lorenzo, Rosalie Apodaca (Arthur) of Pueblo, CO, Patricia Sadler (Tom, deceased) of Rocky Ford, CO, Alice Fragoza (Thomas) of Livermore, Cruz, Jr. (Connie) of San Andreas, Delores Perry (Ed) of Livermore, Robert Fragoza (Debbie) of San Lorenzo, Charles Fragoza (Elisa) of Stockton and Lawrence Fragoza of San Leandro. Hilda had a close relationship with all of her 16 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

Hilda was born on April 13, 1922 in San Julian, Jalisco, Mexico to very loving parents, Manuel and Antonia Hernandez. She was brought to the U.S. when she was 11 months old and was proud to be a Naturalized Citizen. She married in 1938 to Cruz Fragoza when she was just 16 and was a homemaker all of her life, residing in Livermore, CA for the last 17 years. She was a great cook and devoted mother. All nine of her children survive her and have enjoyed and loved her and will miss her greatly. She was active and always ready to spend time with family. She leaves many more loving family that will miss her as well.
