Hector Manuel Montalvo entered peacefully into rest at home in San Leandro, California on February 10, 2020. He was 73 years old.

Born September 27, 1946 in Puerto Rico to parents Rosa and Manuel Montalvo, Hector worked as a carpenter for over 10 years. He is survived by his partner Beverly Jones and many loving family members and friends.

Visitation for Hector will take place from 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Monday, February 24, 2020, at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA, with services to begin at 11:00 AM, also at Grissom's. Hector will be laid to rest at 12:30 PM on Wednesday, February 26, 2020 at Sacramento Valley National Cemetery.
