Gloria Sarmiento-Carpio “Mama G”, “Tita Doya” peacefully joined our creator on January 17, 2018 at 85 years of age.
 
Born in the Philippines on July 7, 1932 to Encarnacion Leal Cruz+ and Eladio Bernabe Sarmiento+ with 4 siblings Adoracion Sarmiento Torres+, Reynaldo Sarmiento, Rodolfo Sarmiento+ and Lolita Eustaquio+, She moved to California in April 25, 1989 with her husband of 49 years (December 1, 1958) Alfredo C. Carpio Sr.+ and lived in California for 29years.
 
She is survived by her lovely children Glenn and wife Adelaida, Alan and wife Marissa Joy, Alfredo Jr and wife Susan, Alex and wife Maribel, Joyce and husband Meinardo.
 
She also leaves behind her beautiful grandchildren Grace Ariane, Glenda Marie, Marc Anthony, Justine, Marc, Karl Luigi, Ronalyne, Arnel, Brian and Raphaiel Austin and great grandchildren Miguel Jeulian and Isaiah.
 
Worked at the Municipality of Montalban, Rizal.  Studied at Far Eastern University in Manila.  She likes to write in her journal, Mama Gloria loves spending the day playing, chatting with Rafa.   She likes watching her favorite TV shows.  She looks forward on her almost daily FaceTime with her children and grandchildren back in the Philippines.
