Gerardo “Lalo” Gomez Martinez, of Union City, CA passed away September 16, 2018 at the age of 43. He was born June 15, 1975 in California to parents Aurora and Gaudencio Martinez.

Gerardo enjoyed shopping at the mall, watching movies at Cinema Theater, visiting theme parks, eating out at restaurants, bowling at Union City Sports Center, and watching Warriors games.

A Visitation for Gerardo will be held Thursday, September 27, 2018, from 4-8 PM, at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd, San Lorenzo, CA, 94580. There will be a Vigil, led by Father Jesus Nieto-Ruiz, at 6 PM. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 28, at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, 703 C St, Union City, CA 94587. Gerardo will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
