Sunrise: August 10, 1961 - Sunset: April 30, 2023

We are saddened to announce that on Sunday, April 30, 2023, we lost our beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend, George Dean “Deano” Primrose Jr. to a heart event at the age of 61. He leaves behind his grieving family, Mother, Donna Primrose, his only sibling Lynda Bowman, Niece, Christine Norton (John), and his pride and joys, his nephews, Eric Rezendes and Maximus Norton and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his Father, George Dean Primrose Sr.

He lived his first 10 years in San Leandro (The Manor) and 51 years in Union City. He attended Logan High School in Union City, CA and worked at Walmart as a manager for many years. He was a loyal volunteer for over 15 years for The League of Volunteers (LOV) in Newark where he won Volunteer of the year in 2010.

Dean enjoyed being with his nephews, bowling, bingo, movies, concerts, holidays with family, playing poker, going to the casino or just anything fun. He was caring, thoughtful, loving, helpful and kind to all who knew him, especially his mother. He also had so many wonderful friends with many of them his BFF’s. Our hearts are broken to lose such a wonderful part of our lives and will miss his laughter, stories and wonderful spirit.
