George A. Osorio, known to friends and family as "Chatito," entered peacefully into rest in Livermore, California on March 2, 2021. He was 82 years old.

Born January 6, 1939 in Arequipa, Peru to parents Enrique and Olga Melgar Osorio, George studied welding, mechanics, and machinist skills in Peru and the USA. His career began as Tecnico Mechanico for: Southern Peru Fishing Co., Ford Motor Company del Peru S.A and culminated as Machinist for: Capitol Metals Inc., Lawrence Berkeley Laboratory, Standfod Linear Accelerator and United Airlines. He was a collector of heavy duty metals and loved to work hard and keep busy with projects and taking care of others.

George is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, AnaMaria Osorio; children Jorge Albert Osorio Jr. and Alberto Jesus Osorio; grandchildren Giovanni A. Osorio, Angelina M. Osorio and Dominic V. Osorio; siblings Frida Castellano, Rodolfo Osorio, Virginia Alvarez, and Enrique Osorio; and many other loving family members and friends. He will be deeply missed.
