Gary W. Gomes entered into rest on August 18th, 2024 in San Lorenzo, California. He was 73 years old.

Born to parents Albert and Marie Gomes, Gary was born in Berkeley, California on August 29th, 1950.  He attended San Lorenzo High School, and afterwards served four years in the U.S. Navy.

"G.W." - as he was known to friends and family - loved to build and remodel; he was a real D.I.Y. person and could rebuild any car engine.

Gary is survived by his spouse of 35 years Mark Gomes and brother Michael Gomes.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Judes Hospital for children.

Care has been entrusted to Grissom's Mortuary.
