Gary Everett McGuire entered peacefully into rest with his family by his side on March 8, 2019.  He was 80 years old.

Born on August 5, 1938 in Wichita, Kansas, to Carl & Ruth McGuire, Gary was a retired Teamster, working in the furniture industry for 38 years.  He had proudly served his country in the US Navy and had been a devoted parishioner at St. John’s Catholic Church.  Gary enjoyed golf, photography and caring for his dogs.  He was true outdoorsman who found great pleasure camping, hunting and fishing.  He was a loving husband, father and friend who will be deeply missed.

Gary is survived by his beloved wife and best friend of 60 years, Beverly Jean McGuire; his devoted children, Mark, Nancy, Paco & Lulu; and many cherished extended family and friends.

Friends are invited to gather for the Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am on Thursday, March 21, 2019 at St. John’s Catholic Church, 264 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo.  Interment with military honors will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
