Gary Everle Stone passed away on March 22, 2019 surrounded by his family; he was 62 years of age.  Born in Washington DC on August 29, 1956, he was one of four children born to Shirley and Don Stone.  He grew up in Fremont, CA and moved to Hayward where he lived most of his life.  He was a successful residential and commercial painter with his grandfather for 30 years until an unfortunate back injury prevented him from continuing to paint.  Gary enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and pheasant hunting each November.  He loved the outdoors and was a San Francisco 49’er fan.  Gary was a family man; devoted husband, father, papa, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed dearly. 

He is survived by his beloved wife of 35 years, Patricia Stone; children Stacy Stone and Keri Mae Stone, step children Francine Bowen and John (Bud) Bowen; Jazmyne Stone the oldest girl of 9 beautiful grandchildren, brother Duke Stone, sisters Janet Stone and Jodi Stone-Utley, many nieces and nephews  as well as several extended family and friends. 

A celebration of his life will take place on April 28, 2019 from 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Eagles Hayward Lodge 21406 Foothill Blvd Hayward, CA 94541.
