Frank Vincent Sidari passed away peacefully on January 9, 2018 at 88 years of age. Frank was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Barbara in 2014, first wife Margaret in 1959, parents Frank and Theresa, sister Josephine and brother Dominic, and is survived by sons Andy (Barbara) of Oldsmar, Florida and John (Derrick) of Alameda, daughter Stacey (Rick) of Brentwood, and daughter-in-law Deanna of Livermore, along with grandchildren James , Kristen, Danielle, Nick, Stephanie and Justin , and great-grandchildren Gianna, David and Sophia. Frank was a graduate of McClymond’s High School and Laney College. He started working at a young age as a driver for Cassou’s French Bakery in Oakland (without a driver’s license), and went on to become a Cabinet Maker, Partner in Alameda City Disposal, and was elected as Director of Ora Loma Sanitary District. Frank also volunteered many hours, holding various volunteer positions with the City of San Leandro, and was a member of several Italian social clubs including Colombo Club, Alpicella Club and Buon Tempo Club. Frank was loved by all who knew him and will be greatly missed. Interment will take place Friday, January 19th at 10:00am at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 1051 Harder Road, Hayward, with a Celebration of Life and lunch following at noon at Metropolitan Golf Course, 10051 Doolittle Dr, Oakland, CA 94603. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105
