Frank Gimenez

February 21, 1927 – May 24, 2017

San Lorenzo, California – Frank Gimenez, aka, “Tiger”, was born February 21, 1927 in Hayward California. He was resident of San Lorenzo, California passed away on May 24, 2017 at the age of 90.

Frank attended Hayward High School and upon completion served in the U.S. Navy department of the Coast Guard, Merchant Marines, and Army also serving in World War II.

Frank worked 30 years as a Pipe Fitter for the Steam Fitters Union with a total of 50 years of service. He loved playing dice, spending time with the great grand kids and driving around Hayward and San Lorenzo.

Frank is the loving son of Antonio and Maria Gimenez and is survived by children: Antonio Gimenez and Michael Leonard. Grandchildren: Tony and James Gimenez. Great Grandchildren: Emerald, Sienna, Tony, Christian, David, Kenny and Isabella. Siblings: James, Pearl and John Gimenez.

Chapel Service will be held at Grissom’s Chapel and Mortuary in San Lorenzo on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 12:00 P.M.

Internment to immediately follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward.
