Frank Edward Porter entered peacefully into rest in San Leandro, California on December 22, 2020. He was 66 years old.
Born August 30, 1954 in Queens, New York to parents Frank W. and Julia Loiuse Porter, Frank was known to those who loved him as Doc, Frankie, Doctor Frank, or just Dad or Daddy. He attended many schools: the Multiskilled Medical Certifications Institute, where he became a National Certified Medical Technologist Instructor; Belford University, where he earned a PhD in Research Medicine; Rochville University, where he earned a second PhD, in Radiology Technology; and Almeda University, where he earned an MBA in Finance. He went on to work as a professor, EKG Technician, investor and broker, and nuclear engineer, enjoying employment at Lincoln University, El Camino Hospital, The Porter Company, Inc, and WestingHouse.
A man of many talents and interests, Frank was a member of the Knights of Columbus and enjoyed teaching, science, research, jogging, running marathons, karate, weightlifting, and climbing trees in his spare time. He was honored with awards in Outstanding Sales and Management.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 22 years, Evangeline Porter; children Arty, Chad, Manny, Erica, Matthew, and Hannah; grandchildren Amber, Taylor, Justin, Cody, Taelor; siblings David Porter, James Cassidy, Patricia Malone; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his first wife, of 22 years, Marie Porter.
