Frances was born in Oakland, CA.  When she was a young girl, she would often accompany her mother who managed Little Pine Restaurant in San Francisco.  When Frances was older, she worked as a waitress at various restaurants.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James Chapman; her sons, Richard and Dennis Athanacio and her great grandson, Dennis Billingslea.

Frances is survived by her son, Donald (Vieda) Athanacio and her daughter in law, Debra Athanacio; grandchildren, Denise Colagross, Kris (Jen) Athanacio, Mark (Jen) Athanacio, Alice (Drew) Billingslea, Jason (Anna) Athanacio and Jon (Jen) Athanacio; and 10 great grandchildren.

Frances will be laid to rest with her husband, James at San Joaquin National Cemetery.

We would like to thank the loving caregivers at Sunrise Care Home for taking care of Frances the last 2 months.

Frances will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neighbors.
