Florencio Himbing Sanchez, known to family and friends as Nonoy, entered peacefully into rest in Oakland, California on August 21, 2021. He was 84 years old.

Born October 24, 1936 in Zaldivar, Philippines to parents Alejandra and Pedro Sanchez, Florencio graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in electrical engineering from FEATI University. He went on to work for St. John Kronstadt for over 26 years. He loved gardening, fishing, walks, playing with his grandkids, and watching basketball and baseball.

Florencio is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Amelia Tunguia Sanchez; children Pamela Sanchez Marseille and Sally Tunguia Sanchez; grandchildren Ella May Marseille, Michaela Amelia Marseille, and Hendrix Ross Adair; brother Jacobo Sanchez; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his siblings Metca Escalona, Enrique Sanchez and Felino Sanchez.

Florencio will be deeply missed.
