Ernesto DeLara Romero entered peacefully into rest at home in San Leandro, California, on May 31, 2019. He was 93 years old. 

Born June 24, 1925 in The Philippines to parents Evangelina and Lorenzo Romero, Ernesto worked as an Officer in the Philippines Army for over 20 years. He is survived by many loving family members and friends, and will be dearly missed. 

Visitation for Ernesto will be held from 4:00-8:00 PM on Monday, June 3, 2019 at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA, with a Vigil to be held at 7:00 PM. Mass will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 4, at St. Felicitas Catholic Church, 1662 Manor Blvd, San Leandro, CA 94579. Following services, Ernesto will be laid to rest at Lone Tree Cemetery, 24591 Fairview Ave, Hayward, CA 94542.
