Erna Calicdan Franklin entered peacefully into rest in San Ramon, California on January 3, 2023. She was 66 years old.

Born April 14, 1956 in Manaoag, Pangasinan, Philippines, Erna worked as a caregiver at Lakeside Park, Watermark Inc., where she cared for senior citizens for 16 years. She loved singing karaoke, cooking, the Warriors and the Nuggets, ABBA and the Bee Gees, Wheel of Fortune, and most all, her family.

Erna was preceded in death by her father Aurelio Calicdan and siblings Mary and Romy. She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Franklin; mother Adoracion Samson Calicdan; siblings Jessie, Helen, Jackie, Imelda, Eddie and Jimmy; and many other loving family members and friends. Erna will be deeply missed.

Services for Erna will be held at 9:00 AM on Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Grissom’s Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA.
