Enrique Esteban Quinones Clerc 86, died peacefully on Friday December 16, 2016 in Oakland, Ca. Born in Mexico City on July 12, 1930, journeyed to the United States in the early 60’s and became a U.S. Citizen in 1972. He worked for General Motors until it closed and later got his certification in heating and air conditioning.

He loved cars, electronics and was a serious “futbol” soccer fan! He was fascinated with Egyptian history and always had a cat; at least 2! During his retired years he liked hanging out at his local star bucks and he loved Lara Croft of Tomb Raider having played every game from start to finish.

Enrique is preceded in death by his parents Enrique Clerc and Cecilia Quinones Clerc, survived by his wife Christina Clerc, two sisters from Mexico City Cecilia Clerc and Dolores Robles, three daughters, Erika Clerc-Auten/son-in law Daniel (Frances), Celia Clerc (Elizabeth) and Elizabeth Clerc./son-in-law Antonio (Yolanda). He is survived by his four grandchildren, Wes, Danielle, Adam, David, and great-grandchildren Audrey, Roman, Jade and Nathan.

Psalms 18:15 “But as for me, my contentment is not in wealth but in seeing you and kowing all is well between us. And when I awake in heaven, I will be fully satisfied, for I will see you face to face.”

Papa, I hope your journey from death is a new beginning of life with the Lord and all of those waiting for you in heaven.

Adios no es para siempre y no es el final, solo quiere decir que te voy a extranar much, hasta que nos encontremos otra vez. Pero por ahorita tu siempre estaras en mis pensamientos y en mis bonitas memorias y especialmente tu estaras siempre muy adentro de mi Corazon. Que estes con Dios y que dezcanses en pas para siempre.
