Elroy Tookes entered peacefully into rest in Oakland, California on July 4, 2024. He was 71 years old.

Born October 25, 1952 in Arkansas to parents Christine and O.B. Tookes, Elroy worked as a healthcare transporter. He is survived by many loving family members and friends and will be greatly missed.
