Eloise Shivers was born in Waco, TX on August 13, 1936 to parents Theodore Roosevelt Scott and MD Toldon. She dedicated her life to her family, raising nine children and several grandchildren. She also worked as a caregiver. During her free time, Eloise loved sewing, cooking, hatmaking, and traveling. Elosie is survived by her children, James Shivers Jr., Leticia Davis-Cammack, Cynthia Shivers-Phillips, Zovie Shivers Sr., Michelle Shivers-Dixon, Teresa Shivers and Michael Shivers, Angelique Shivers and her 10 grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband, Mr. James Shivers Sr. and daughter Judy Ann Edwards.

Care has been entrusted to Grissom's Mortuary.

Service Information

Visitation will be held Friday, July 29, 2022, 5:00 P.M.-7:00 P.M. at Grissom's Chapel and Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd, San Lorenzo, CA. 94580. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 10:00 A.M. at Good Samaritan Cathedral C.O.G.I.C, 625 W. MacArthur Blvd, Oakland, CA. 94609.
