Elizabeth Jones was born in Indianola, MS to Albert Jones and Hildred (Dixon) Jones on June 23rd 1957. She is survived by three sons, a daughter in-law, and 6 grandchildren: Melord Acklin (sons Melord Ackin Jr. and Zion Acklin), Larry Acklin (son Isiah Acklin, wife Felicia Acklin), and Denniel Acklin (daughter Dennilah Acklin, sons Denniel Acklin Jr and Delano Acklin). She is also survived by two sisters, Stine Jones and Sherry Jones, and three brothers, James Jones, RC Jones and DL Jones.

She is preceeded in death by sisters Rose Martin, Nel Jones, and May Jones, and brothers Albert Jones, Lobell Jones, and Mosel Jones, as well as both her parents. 

Elizabeth Jones was an extraordinary woman. She lived life to the fullest and cared very deeply about her loved ones.
