Edgardo Alfredo Panameño AKA Papa, resident of San Francisco , Ca was born on September 26, 1953 in Sonsonate, El Salvador and passed away on July 14, 2020 at the age of 66 years old.
Edgardo was the son of Teresa Panameño and raised by both his mother and grandmother, Olinda Panameno, who passed away December 18, 2007. He grew up with his two brothers : Alan Castillo, Luis Panameno and his sister : Maria Olinda Panameno in Sonsonate, El Salvador.
Half of his life was lived in El Salvador he studied at Universidad de El Salvador, and worked in mechanical engineering. In 1980 he emigrated to the United States and in 1982 married Celina Rodriguez and Instantly became the father of 2 boys : Armondo Lostaunau and James Lostaunau and 2 girls: Colleen Mejia and Shadelly Reader . It is in his marriage and raising his family that Ed found his life’s purpose. His legacy has continued through his ten grandchildren: Bonnie , Jazmina, Marlon Jacob , Analyssa, Alynna , Josh, Dylan, Isabella , Jaylin and Jeffrey Jr. And his 4 great-grandchildren: Alyssa, Alani, Alivia and Audrey.
He was a man of few words, with a high sense of honor, duty, and responsibility. His love expressed more in actions than words. He loved his family, his work and found joy in watching the 49ers and SF Giants.
He only takes the best. God saw you getting tired, and a cure was not to be; so he put his arms around you and whispered , “ come to me “.
