Life Legacy

Douglas Joseph Wirag, 63, passed away on May 10, 2022, at home in Dublin, California.

He was the husband to wife Patricia Wirag. They shared 41 years of love together and were married for 37 of those years. Their love for each other was infinite and true. Born at Fort Sill Army Base in Lawton, Oklahoma. He was the son of Donald Wirag and Joan Wirag. He attended and graduated from Carmel High School, then continued his education in trade school to become a machinist. He then began his career as a machinist and continued working in that field for 40 years.

He enjoyed going hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He loved playing his guitar and singing for his loved ones. His favorite activity by far was playing and spending time with his grandchildren. He will always be remembered as the life of the party. He was a walking comedy show, the kindest and most generous soul, and he made friends wherever he went. He truly was an angel on earth. He is survived by wife Patricia, daughters Kristen, Sarah, and Amanda, son-in-law Robert, grandchildren Andrew, Jace, Dean, and Kashton, brother Donald, sisters Patricia and Darlene, brother-in-law Michael, sister-in-law Julie, and multiple nieces and nephews.

He was cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date and time.
