Doretha Anderson entered peacefully into rest at home in San Leandro, California on April 30, 2019. She was 98 years old. 

Born December 8, 1920 in Louisiana to parents Baby Lee Ealy and General Hawkins, Doretha worked as a homemaker all her life. She is survived by her daughter Drucilla Anderson.

Doretha will be laid to rest at San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery.
