Donald “Don” Eugene Mintz passed away at home in San Lorenzo, California, on February 16, 2019, at the age of 89. He was born March 2, 1929 in Eugene, Oregon to parents Veva and Gus Mintz.

Donald was retired from Whitman Candy, after serving as the General Sales Manager for 35 years. He was a member of SIR (Sons in Retirement) Club and the Skywest Golf Club, and enjoyed golf, tinkering around the house, gardening and traveling.

Donald is survived by his wife of 42 years, Jessie Rae Mintz (Richi); children Nancy J. Scovell, Daniel S. Mintz, David Manning Mintz, Barry Pries, and Donald Pries; 8 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

At Donald’s request, no services will be held.
