Dominga “Ingay” Vargas entered peacefully into rest at St. Rose Hospital in Hayward, California on July 4, 2020. She was 93 years old.

Born July 3, 1927 in Camarinez Norte, Philippines, to parents Mr. and Mrs. Juan Pansacola, Dominga worked as a housewife all her life. 

Dominga was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 74 years, Pedro Vargas Sr.; children Ruben, Noel and Elmer; and siblings Emilia Bay and Simeon Pansacola. She  is survived by her children Nelia, Wil, JR, Eddie, Dita, and Rick; grandchildren Beth, Sharon, Elaine, Shiela, Christopher, Michael, Nicolle, Erika, Ayen, Raeleen, and Kailee; great grandchildren Pocholo, Lance, Chrisia, Yhandrei, Harleigh, Francine and AJ; and many other loving family members and friends. She will be greatly missed. 

Arrangements have been entrusted to Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary. Dominga will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 26320 Mission Blvd, Hayward, CA.
