Diana Del Masso entered peacefully into rest at her Castro Valley home on September 18, 2017.  She was 71 years old.

Born in Berkeley on March 10, 1946, Diana was the only daughter of Elizabeth and Paul Gilbert.  She graduated from Richmond Union High School, class of 1963.  Diana was a self taught survivor.  She met and married the love of her life, Albert Burno Del Masso, where they both worked at Bay Cities Produce, Inc. Together they shared a magical kind of love and embraced life to the fullest.  They traveled the world and savored where each adventure took them.  Diana was a devoted mother and friend whose kind and generous ways will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her beloved son, Jeffrey Christensen, step children, Connie Bird, Steve & Terri Del Masso and Cathy & Steve Pucci and many cherished extended family and friends.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Leslie, Paul and Jerry Gilbert.

A celebration of Diana's life will be scheduled for a later date.  She will be laid to rest at Oak Grove Cemetery in Knights Ferry.
