Mr. Daya Ram Charan born in Anya 8th, 1944 in Nausori, Fiji islands and migrated to California, USA ka passed away 26th March, 2023 peacefully in San Mateo, CA.

Leaving behind his wife Bipla Ram and sons Rakesh and Salesh and only daughter Sungala Ram; 3 grandkids Rodney, Regina, and Jasmine and 3 great grandchildren Anvi, Arianna, and Anya.

Daya Ram Charan started off his career in the United States as a head chef for the Days Inn hotel which gained him many awards and certificates for one of the best chefs. He also worked as a transportation driver for Choke Hospital where he ended up retiring after working there for more than 30 years. 

Funeral services for Daya will be held on Wednesday March 29th, 2023 from 10AM-1PM at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 East Lewelling Blvd, San Lorenzo, CA 94580. Phone: (510) 278-2800
