In Loving Memory of Mr. David Lampkin

**February 10, 1949 – April 4, 2026**

Mr. David Lampkin of Richmond, California, formerly of Charleston, Missouri, passed away on April 4, 2026. He was born on February 10, 1949, in Charleston, Missouri, to Mr. Robert and Mrs. Bertha Lampkin.

David graduated from Charleston Senior High School in 1970. A hardworking and highly respected man, he proudly served his country during two tours in Vietnam. Following his military service, David dedicated many years of his life to healthcare as a Registered Nurse at the Veterans Hospital in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. Known for his outspoken character, strong work ethic, and dedication, he remained a devoted father until his declining health.

David leaves to cherish his memory:

Sons: David Lampkin Jr. (Phoenix, AZ), Bram Lampkin (Vallejo, CA), Renwicke Lampkin (Susanville, CA), and Michael Lampkin (deceased)

Daughters:Trishka Lampkin (Vallejo, CA) and Pushpa Lampkin (Richmond, CA).

Grandchildren: Marcus Hughes-Lampkin, Michael Samuel Cortez, of Atlanta Georgia, Lorenzo Mateo Cortez, Robert Matthew Cortez of California Jurnee Lampkin and David Lampkin III Charlotte North Carolina

Great-Grandchildren: Tiyahsi Cortez,  Robert Cortez Jr. and Angel Lampkin

Surviving Siblings: Janice Lampkin Parnell (Whiting, IN), Patricia Lampkin (Charleston, MO), Shelia Randle (Charleston, MO), and Robert Lampkin (Victorville, CA).

A host of loving nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by:

Parents: Mr. Robert and Mrs. Bertha Lampkin.

Deceased Siblings: Alonzo Hoover Sr., Roy Lampkin, Terry Lampkin, Gilbert Lampkin, Dwight Randle, Willie Randle, and his sister, Gathella Lampkin.
