Darlene Silva was born on February 9, 1935 in Toledo, OH.

She attended Libbey High School in Toledo.

After high school, she married Mr. Daniel Silva and to this union four children were born: Daniel Jr., Kim, Connie and John Silva. Their marriage lasted fifty-nine years. 

Darlene owned Silva's Fish-n-Chips for years and in her spare time he was a big fan of the 5-time Super Bowl Champion San Francisco 49ers and the Oakland Athletics. She also enjoyed gambling and taking in/caring for ferrel cats.

Mrs. Silva passed away at home on Monday, November 20, 2017.

She leaves to mourn her passing, children: Daniel Silva, Jr., Kim Pastore (Tom), Connie Bordner (Bud) and John Silva; granchildren: Brieann, Deanna, Marco and Tommy; great-granchildren: Ryan, Matteo, Lucca and Maverick.

Her husband, the late Daniel Silva, Sr. preceded her in death (d. 2014).

There will be a visitation on Monday, November 27, 2017 from 4:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at Grissom's Chapel and Mortuary. The address is 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA 94580.

A graveside service will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. The address is 26320 Mission Blvd., Hayward, CA 94544.
