Danny Keith Hobbs passed away peacefully on April 3, 2018 in Pleasanton, California. He was 85 years old.

Danny was born in Oakland on Thursday, February 11, 1933, to Fred and Alberta (Mattison) Hobbs.  He was a graduate of Alameda High School, in Alameda, California, where he was class president. Danny met and married the love of his life, Dolores "Dee" (Radonich).  They made their home in Hayward, where they would raise 3 children.  He worked for Cal State East Bay (Hayward), retiring as a Manager.  In his free time, Danny enjoyed gardening, painting, cartoon artistry, fishing and local sports. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and friend who will be deeply missed. 

Danny is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Dee Hobbs; children, Ricky (Kathy) Hobbs, Sheila (Lee) Wilcox and Danny (Monica) Hobbs; grandchildren, Joshua (Andrea) Hobbs, Ryan Hobbs, Madison Hobbs and Jessica Wilcox; siblings, Barry Hobbs, Ted Hobbs, Robin Hobbs and Pamela Phelps; many loving extended family and cherished friends.

A celebration of Danny's life will be held at Alameda County Fairgrounds, Ivy Glenn, at 5:00 P.M. on May 12, 2018.
