Danilo (Dan) S. Serrano entered peacefully into rest in San Leandro, California on January 23, 2021. He was 64 years old.

Born October 2, 1956 in San Antonio, Bacolor, Pampanga, Philippines to parents David F. and Lucila C. Serrano, Danilo graduated from FEATI University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Civil Engineering. He immigrated to the USA with his wife and kids in 1998, became a homeowner, and went on to work as a civil engineer and licensed general contractor for the State of California for over 20 years. He also owned his own business, Saint Anthony Home Improvement. Danilo was a member of the KAYI club and loved sports, the Warriors, music, singing, gardening, cooking, traveling, gathering with family and friends, jokes, laughter, animals, and karaoke.

Danilo is survived by his beloved wife of 38 years, Irene “Nene” D. Serrano; children Philip Neri D. Serrano, Dan “Patrick” Neri D. Serrano, and Mary “Mae” Lucille D. Serrano; mother Lucila C. Serrano; siblings Alma Gomez, Ricardo Serrano, Cristina Pineda, Leonardo Serrano and Alberto Serrano; and many other loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father David F. Serrano and brother Eduardo Serrano. Danilo will be deeply missed.
