Daniel “Danny” Encizo Dominguez passed peacefully on April 22, 2017 in Union City, California.  He was 75 years old. 

Daniel was born August 15, 1941 in Berkeley, California to Natividad Dominguez and Dolores Dominguez.  Daniel also had a step-father David Benitez.  Daniel had three sisters, Beatrice, Elva and Susie and a brother Don.  Daniel preceded in death by his first wife Jeri and his Father Natividad.  Daniel leaves behind his wife Mary of 31 years.  His kids David, Daniel, Jeanine, Diane, Theresa, Mike, and Chris.  Daniel was a Talented Singer and Dancer who fronted his own Rock and Roll Band in the late 50’s.  Music was Daniel’s passion. From Fats Domino, Chuck Berry to Sade, he loved his music.  He was a DJ for many years, spinning records and hauling equipment from dances to dances.  Daniel had a great sense of humor and would tell jokes that would make Redd Foxx blush!  But what Danny cherished most of all was Family.  He loved spending time with his grandchildren Reyna, James, Danielle, Leanna, Korena, Carissa, Lolita, Renato, Antonio, Xavier, Trini, Dreena, Taylor, and Mikey.  He also loved spending time with his great-grandchildren Angel, Analicia, Julius, Jazmine, Alexandrea, Mariah, Neveah, Jayden, Leila, Lillyanna, Jerald Jr. Daniel loved his dog Sadi.  He would do whatever it took to make sure his family was taken care of and held on as long as he could to make sure they would be okay, without him.  Daniel was a man with a heart of gold he is loved by all that knew him.  His legacy will live on through his children, grandchildren and great –grandchildren.  He will be missed and never forgotton.

Visitation for Daniel will be Thursday April 27, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Mission Hills Christian Fellowship 29952 Mission Blvd., Hayward, Ca 94544.  On Friday April 28, 2017 from 9:00 am to 10:30 am a visitation at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, Ca 94580.
