Donna passed away peacefully surrounded by her close family on Tuesday January 15, 2019. She was born on January 19, 1940 in Oakland, California. 

Donna attended Castlemont High School and graduated from San Leandro High School. She then went on to work for Trans Ocean Airlines. She married Lyle Crouse in 1959. At the early age of 26, Donna was widowed. She raised her two sons as a single mother and went on to help her son raise her granddaughter. Donna was very dedicated to her family. She cared for her mother and father for many years until they passed away.

Donna was self-employed and had a successful housecleaning business for many years before she then went on to care giving for house-bound patients. She always liked to work and keep busy. 

She also loved to travel and cook, but most of all she loved being with her family and close friends. She was a loving person to so many people.  

Donna is preceded in passing by her husband Lyle, mother Roxine and father Peter Francisco. She is survived by her two sons, Zachary and Duane and daughter-in-law Geline; sister Doreen and brother-in-law Frank, sister-in-law Geri; grandchildren Brendan, Caley, McKenna and Daria; great grandchildren, Ava, Jack and Tatum; nephew Michael and niece Lauren; her beloved little dog, Scooter; and all of her wonderful friends.

Donna will be loved and missed by all. God bless and rest in peace.

Viewing will be held on Monday January 21, 2019 from 4:00 PM-8:00 PM with a service at 7:00 PM at Grissom’s Funeral Home in San Lorenzo, CA. The funeral will be held on Tuesday January 22, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Felicitas Catholic Church, 1650 Manor Blvd, San Leandro, CA.
