Corazon Musni Liwanag, known to family and friends as Cora or Nene, entered peacefully into rest in Hayward, California on March 3, 2022. She was 86 years old.

Born July 20, 1935 in Parian Mexico, Pampanga to parents Alfredo N. Musni and Corazon D. Cochon, Corazon received her undergraduate degree from Baguio College Foundation (BCF). She loved cooking, playing piano and baking cakes, and was a former beauty queen, serving as Miss Guisad Baguio City.

Corazon is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Leonicio P. Liwanag, Jr.; children Lilibeth Goddard, Evangeline Torno, Frederick Liwinag, Vivian Dollaga, Christine Pineda, Wally Liwanag, Ma. Corazon Liwanag and Michelle Liwanag; grandchildren Jonathan, Catherine, John Prescot, Luis, Luke, Camille, Nyza, Savian, Stephen, Danielle, LJ, Angelee, Kendrick, Kevin, Derik, Lou Jay, John Derick, Jasmine, Jesse, Tristan, Amber and Skie; great grandchildren Tiffany, Oliver, Zandrei, Kaia and Liliana; siblings Norma Arevalo and Blanca Soeda; and many other loving family members and friends. She was preceded in death by siblings Alfredo Musni, Jr., Nestor Musni and Gloria Musni Duldulao. Corazon will be greatly missed.

Corazon will be laid to rest at Baguio Cemetery in Baguio City, Philippines.
