Conrado "Jun" Aranzamendez Vera, Jr., of Hayward, CA, passed away July 7, 2018 at the age of 82. He was born June 4, 1936 in Pasay City, Philippines to parents Conrado Vera Sr. and Ada Plata Aranzamendez. 

Conrado was a scholar, receiving a BS in Accounting from University of the East in the Philippines and an MBA from the University of the Philippines. He worked as a Certified Public Accountant for Shell Oil Company for 31 years.

Conrado is survived by his children, Leah V. Lirio (Fernando), Ferdinand Vera (Mylene), Ma. “Cherry” Socorro V. Capulong (Lamberto), and David Vera (Mariel); grandchildren Abigail Vera-Lirio, Antonio Miguel Vera, Carlo Luigi Vera, Monica Vera, and Denise Consuelo Vera; and siblings Roberto Vera, Mely Arado, Teresita Mella, Rudy Vera, Renato Vera, and Gerardo Vera. He was preceded in death by his wife of 28 years, Norma Vera.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 16, 2018 from 3-8 PM, with a Vigil to be held at 7:00PM, at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd, San Lorenzo, CA. Funeral Liturgy will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at 10:00AM at St. John's Catholic Church, 264 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA. Mr. Vera will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Hayward, CA at 10:00AM on Thursday, July 19, 2018.
