Concepcion B. “Inay Siony” Magpantay, entered peacefully into rest at her San Leandro home, surrounded by her family on March 23, 2019. Born to Maximo & Gervacia Basilan on December 8, 1942 in the Philippines, Concecion was a retired server.

She was devoted to her faith and enjoyed reading the bible, cooking, gardening, going for walks and watching her favotire show, Teleseryes. Concepcion was a longtime member of Light by the Bay Church. Concepcion was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be deeply missed.

She is survived by her beloved children and their spouses, Lourdes (Armando), Perla (Bhuds), Nestor (Mary), Nelson (Maricel), Bien (Mylene), Jhun (Lanie) and Marco (Joy); 18 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and many loving extended family and cherished friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marcelo Magpantay Sr.

Visitation for Concepcion will be Saturday, March 30, 2019 from 5 pm to 8 pm at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo. Concepcion will be laid to rest with her husband at Haven of Rest Memorial Park in the Philippines.
