Charlene “Charlie” Clark passed away in Hayward, CA on September 28, 2018 at the age of 70. She was born March 16, 1948 in Oakland, CA to parents Iona and Charlie Wright. 

Charlene worked as a teller at Bank of the West for 24 years, after graduating from Pacific High School. She also held a ministerial degree. She loved team bowling, singing in her church choir, and researching her family ancestry.

Charlene is survived by her husband of 52 years, Martin Clark; children Martin Clark II, Tiffany Brown/Clark, and son-in-law Russell; grandchildren Russell Brown II and Breanna Brown; great grandchildren Ryker L. Quiambao and Ellianna A. Quiambao; and siblings Yvonne Wiggins (Wright), Donald Wright and George Wright. Charlene was preceded in death by her brother, Chuck Wright.

A Visitation for Charlene will be held Thursday, October 4 from 5:00 - 8:00 PM at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA. Services will be held Friday, October 5 at 11:00 AM, also at Grissom's Chapel & Mortuary. Charlene will be laid to rest at Lone Tree Cemetery in Hayward, CA.
