Chandra Bhan entered into rest on August 8, 2022, at the age of 95.

He is survived by his children, Mahen Prakash, Arvind Prakash, Anil Prakash, Sunil Prakash, Jagdish Chand, Chandra Prakash, Surend Prakash, and Arun Prakash, as well as his 20+ grandchildren, and 30+ great-granchildren. He is predeceased by his wife of 75 years, Chandra Prabha Bhan.
