Catherine “Cathy” Saenz-Gibson passed away of a sudden heart attack in her Hayward home Sunday, October 2nd 2016 with her loving and devoted Husband Randy at her side.

  Catherine Elizabeth Saenz was born March 23, 1959 in Hayward, CA. to parents Rollie Soto Saenz and Trinidad (Trini) Ortiz she was the middle of three children. She attended David E. Martin Elementary School in San Lorenzo and graduated from Arroyo High School in San Lorenzo in 1977. After High School she attended Hayward Beauty School.

 Cathy was a fan of a good time. She loved Attending comic book and sci Fi conventions, the Annual Scottish Games at the Pleasanton Fairgrounds/ She enjoyed The Oakland Raiders, The Oakland A’s, was a ½ season ticket holder for the Oakland A’s minor league team and going to the MiLB Stockton Ports games. Cathy was an Alumni Member of the 66th Mob and Forever Oakland Foundation.

   She leaves behind her siblings; Older sister Sandra Eggleston and her Baby Brother Michael Rollie Saenz, her Husband of 5 years, Randy Lane Gibson along with several Nieces, Nephews, Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, a multitude of friends and loved ones scattered throughout all of Northern and Southern California and their 18+ cats. Cathy was so, very loved and will be truly and deeply missed by all those who knew her.
