Cary “Caridad” A. Corpuz passed away July 25, 2018 at the age of 92, in Vallejo, CA. She was born August 1, 1925 in the Philippines to parents Francisco and Toriba Alejo.

Cary loved gardening, shopping, cooking, and hosting parties.

Cary is survived by her four children, Lee (Amanda), Russ (Lolly), Remy (Leo), and Orlando (Elena); twelve grandchildren, Maia, Chelsea, Iris, Mika, Lilla, Josh, Janelle, Cary-Jean, Pia-Jol, Ian, Nikko, and Noel; ten great-grandchildren, Vincent, Annalyn, Aleia, Liam, Kaeli, Maile, Kiera, Giana, Alana, and Camille; and sister Victoria Baldonado. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Isabelo Corpuz, brother Cornelio Alejo, and parents Francisco and Toriba Alejo.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary, 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, CA, 94580. A Mass will be held Thursday, August 2 at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Catholic Church, 264 E. Lewelling Blvd, San Lorenzo, CA, 94580. Cary will be laid to rest at Cedar Lawn Cemetery in Fremont, CA.
