Brenda Goodrum passed away peacefully on April 13, 2017.  She was 59 years old.

Brenda was born on November 11, 1958 to Mary and Nolan Goodrum.  Brenda leave behind her siblings Nolan Goodrum Jr., Michelle Goodrum-Stanfield, Vernon Goodrum and Paulette Jones.  She also leaves her only son Joseph Montablo.  Brenda was a long time resident of Oakland, California attending Oakland Public Schools and Graduating from Castlemount High School.  She also attended Career Community College at East Bay Skills Center and Texas Institute where she became a computer specialist.  Brenda worked as a Secretary for 8 years.  When Brenda was in her 20’s she modeled and felt it was one of her biggest achievements.  When she was not working or spending time with her family Brenda enjoyed playing the guitar.

Visitation for Brenda will be Thursday May 4, 2017 at 10:00am at Grissom’s Chapel & Mortuary 267 E. Lewelling Blvd., San Lorenzo, Ca 94580
