Betsy Ruth Seibel entered peacefully into rest at home in Newark, California on December 17, 2020. She was 69 years old.

Born January 16, 1951 in Clarksville, Tennessee to parents George Black and Mary Frances Williams, Betsy worked as a Special Education Aide for the Newark Unified School District for over 25 years. She loved reading, playing games on her iPad, and spending time with her grandson. She was the best mom and "Grandy." 

Betsy was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 42 years, Edward Eugene Seibel. She is survived by her daughter Christina Diane Isakson; grandson Nicholas James Sierra; sister Evelyn Marie Harman; and many other loving family members and friends. She will be deeply missed
